It’s All About Your Wedding

“Whatever souls are made of, yours and mine are the same." —Emily Brontë

Congratulations!

You’ve found your soulmate! Let's design the wedding you want, with a ceremony to reflect your uniqueness as individuals and as a couple.

I offer many types of ceremonies in Chicagoland:

  • Traditional

  • Nontraditional

  • Same Sex

  • Non-Binary and LGBTQ

  • Gender Neutral

  • Interfaith

  • Mixed Heritage

  • Multicultural

  • Nonreligious or Secular

  • Nondenominational

  • Jewish

My experience allows me to alleviate some wedding planning stress for you, and ensure your wedding ceremony is just as you imagine it to be.

As your wedding officiant, I will work with you to understand what you really want your ceremony to convey. I will ask the right questions, and our discussions will lead me to uncover creative possibilities about the ceremony. I will weave words around the ideas and stories you share, to create a unique ceremony that is reflective of your values and beliefs. Together we will create a ceremony that is a meaningful beginning to your married life.

The most visible part of my work is when I officiate at the ceremony, however most of my work is done behind the scenes. I spend a significant amount of time interviewing both of you and, possibly, friends and / or family members. I research to identify specific appropriate content and readings. Then I write and design the custom ceremony, based on what is important to you. The ceremony is not complete until you approve it.

The time we work together may involve several days of frequent interaction or may occur at a more leisurely pace, depending on your time frame for the ceremony. Regardless of the pace, I spend as much time as necessary to ensure your ceremony is exactly you!
